Ghost Games And EA Confirm That Speed Cards Has Been Removed Need For Speed: Heat

According to the reports, Speed Cards will no longer be a part of Need for Speed: Heat. This news from Ghost Games and EA turned out to be good for the fans who had earlier complained that they were not able to upgrade cars and modifications without spending any money.

But, the fans shouldn’t expect that the game will be completely free, as EA has earned quite a lot of money from the in-game purchases, so they won’t be taking away the micro-transactions from the game.

The news that Speed Cards removed for Need for Speed has spread like a fire. The dev team revealed on a Reddit post that car packs will now be available to be downloaded for Need for Speed: Heat. And, the micro-transaction will be considered as a ‘time-save’ pack, which will display the items on the map that can be collected.

At this moment nothing much has been revealed, but as promised by the team, they will soon give out the details during the Gamescom 2019, which will be held from 20th Aug to 25th Aug.

As suggested by the name, the game will be set up in Palm City. Racers from all over the world will compete to earn recognition. There is speedhunters showdown, in which users can earn Bank and use it to customize or upgrade their cars.

The races would take place in the evening. This would be a huge opportunity for the players to become the lord of the streets. However, a police task force will be keeping an eye on everything, to mitigate dangerous behavior. They will not only chase down the racers but also take all their earnings.

You can either play solo or in a team. You can even design a car that can compete with hot cars and dominate others.

The creative director of Ghost Games, Riley Cooper revealed that Need for Speed: Heat would offer the fans more options. Following the demands of the fans for introducing more cars, challenges, and customization, the developers have tried to add wishlist and take the game to another level.

The game will offer more opportunities for players to show their creativity, and also imprint their signature on both the cars and the characters.

Fans can book the game on the Microsoft store. Pre-bookings would include a free K.S. Edition car and also a Mercedes C63 AMG Coupe, BMW i8, and Corvette Grand Sport.

The game will be available on PlayStation 4, Microsoft Windows, and Xbox One from 8th November.
