Ola is turning out with its new self-drive cab rental assistance in Bengaluru

A new initiative from Ola is going to make your journey even better. Now, there’s hardly any reason for purchasing a private car as “Ola Drive” has launched a self-drive cab rental service from Thursday.

This latest service has already been rolled out for the Ola users based in Bengaluru. Well, Mumbai, Hyderabad, and New Delhi are here to follow the services shortly.

Ola Drive is a new category introduced in its app and the users are now able to collect the cars from the pick-up station located all across the different commercial as well as residential hubs.

Ola is giving choices to its customers with the facility of selecting their desired car for two hours while the customers have to pay a security deposit of Rs. 2000.

This vehicle renting company has confessed that they are interested to host a fleet of almost 20,000 cars by the next year. This will help them scale up their latest Ola Drive Service all around the Indian cities.

According to Arun Srinivas, the Chief Sales and Marketing Officer at Ola – this new strategy will bring in an excellent transformation in India’s Car sharing market in the next few decades. He also said that right now Ola is introducing a short-term self-drive car-sharing option as they are interested to come up with their long-term services with options like subscription and corporate leasing.

All the Ola Drive cars across the cities are connected with Ola Play which offers a 7-inch touch screen infotainment device that is comprised of GPS as well as Bluetooth connectivity.

Users can access the platform’s support and the safety features that include a 24/7 helpline and an emergency button. This helps the user to process a prompt call the Ola operators and the safety response team will immediately take over the situation with their real-time tracking facility.

Moreover, roadside assistance from Ola will further ensure a secure, reliable and comfortable driving experience.
