The British Royal Family Is Worried About Meghan’s Dark Son

The wife of Prince Harry, Meghan explained why her son Archie did not have the title of prince. She revealed that her son’s dark skin has left the British royals worried
Meghan’s mother is Black and her father is white. When she married Prince Harry, she was completely naïve about the royal family. Later she was traumatized and started having suicidal thoughts and self-harming tendencies because she didn’t get any help from the family.
She was interviewed by Oprah Winfrey which was telecasted on CBS last Sunday.
“They didn’t want him to be a prince or princess, not knowing what the gender would be, which would be different from protocol and that he wasn’t going to receive security,” she told on the interview.
“In those months when I was pregnant, all around this same time, so we have in tandem the conversation of, ‘you won’t be given security, not gonna be given a title’ and also concerns and conversations about how dark his skin might be when he’s born”
The royal couple was married in 2018 and decided to give up the royal title to start a new life in the United States.
Meghan was offended how the royal family lied to protect others, hampering her reputation without protecting her from hideous claims.
“It was only once we were married and everything started to really worsen that I came to understand that not only was I not being protected but that they were willing to lie to lie to protect other members of the family,” Meghan said.
“There’s the family, and then there are the people that are running the institution, those are two separate things and it’s important to be able to compartmentalize that because the queen, for example, has always been wonderful to me.”
While explaining she was not paid for the interview, she added, “I will say I went into it naively, because I didn’t grow up knowing much about the royal family.”
