On last Tuesday morning, India woke up to the news that the Indian Army seeking revenge for the Pulwama Attack by launching air strikes on the Jaish-e-Mohammed camps across the LoC in Balakot. Governments of India said that this is pre-emptive strikes against the terror camps in Pakistan.

JeM, LeT and Hizbul Mujahideen training camps were targeted by Indian Air Force around 3:30 AM on Tuesday. There was immense pressure on the Narendra Modi government due to public anger after the terror attack in Pulwama that killed 40 CRPF jawans on 14th February.

According to the reports, IAF dropped 1,000 kg bombs on the targets in Balakot, Muzafarrabad and Chakoti completely smashed many terror camps. After this attack, Pakistan has confirmed that IAF has violated Line of Control in Muzaffarabad sector.

Pakistan made it fully clear that they were all ready for any surgical strikes like once India carried it out on 26th September 2016. The strike at Balakot falls in Khyber Pakhtunwala province of Pakistan has huge significance. This is for the first time India crossed the LoC.

The IAF’s ‘Surgical Strike 2.0’ left Twitter churning out the best response. Pakistan Defence at 12:06 AM on Tuesday had tweeted that “Sleep tight because PAF is awake”.  This seemed to be a threat to India. To this India gave a better response not in words, but in the way that JeM would understand.
